Coach Jason begins his sixth season as a Pennsbury Aquatics Club coach for our 41st season. This is his fifth season as the girls SAL team coach and second season as SAL Lead Coordinator. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he started his swimming career swimming 10 years for the Roxborough YMCA. He then swam in the Suburban Aquatic League for one year swimming for PWAC (Plymouth Whitemarsh Aquatic Club).Coach Jason then advanced into high school where he lettered in 3 sports (including swimming, of course!) for Roxborough High School. While there, he was All Public as a member of the record-setting Medley and Freestyle relay teams. Coach Jason graduated from Temple University in 1984. While at Temple, he was a swim team member and lettered as a college swimmer before the university dropped the men and women's swim program.
In 2007, Coach Jason led the LMT (Lower Makefield Township) Gators to a Lower Bucks Swim League Red Division Championship. A tremendous accom-plishment considering the fact that this was his first year as coach of their summer swim program! He is also a certified USA swim coach and works tirelessly with our other USA coaches and swimmers at practices and USA-sanctioned meets. This year, Coach Jason will continue to serve as the Suburban Aquatic League Coordinator for Penn Aquatics.
